Revenue Operations Manager and Assistant to the Chief Revenue Officer

The Revenue Operations Manager and Assistant to the CRO is a dynamic role that spans administrative, revenue, and operations responsibilities. This role will provide operational leadership for the National Journal Research Revenue Team and support the CRO in driving revenue in a growing research and consulting enterprise.
Provide operational leadership for the NJR Revenue Department:
Overseeing revenue operations and infrastructure for the revenue department
Managing and updating marketing collateral
Organizing and maintaining client files
Reviewing operations across the revenue team and recommending and implementing changes to improve efficiency and collaboration
Organizing revenue team events, both internal and client-facing
Drafting and updating training materials
Organizing onboarding for all new revenue team members
Managing revenue team subscriptions, e.g., ZoomInfo and ChurnZero
Coordinating with Finance Department, clients, and revenue team regarding invoicing
Support the CRO of National Journal Research in driving revenue and scaling a growing research and consulting enterprise:
Representing the CRO and National Journal brand with internal and external parties via email, phone, and in-person engagements
Tracking and reporting revenue department key performance indicators
Managing the CRO’s calendar against organizational priorities
Supporting CRO through client lifecycle, including prepping materials for external meetings and tracking follow-ups
Coordinating revenue team meetings, including drafting agendas, organizing pre-read documents, taking notes, and tracking follow-up items
Performing administrative tasks, including expense reconciliation

Excellent skills with Microsoft Office, including Powerpoint and Excel, and with Google Apps.
Knowledge of Salesforce and/or other CRM tools is a plus

A full course of the COVID-19 vaccination is required for employment at National Journal

Compensation: The salary range for this role is $65,000-$75,000 (commensurate with experience)
Location: This job is based in Washington, DC. National Journal will be operating on a hybrid basis, with employees required to be in the office every Tuesday and Thursday.
