Partnership and Strategy Fellowship
National Journal is hiring a Partnerships & Strategy Fellow to join National Journal’s Membership team.

We are seeking a highly motivated candidate to join our growing firm as a Fellow supporting our Partnership and Strategy work. The ideal candidate will have excellent written and oral communication skills and will be exceptionally organized, persistent, and collaborative. The ideal candidate also will be entrepreneurial and intellectually curious. This role offers the opportunity to join a growing team and to help build and scale our business.
In addition to the day-to-day responsibilities, those who join the fellowship will work regularly on products of strategic importance across the business, alongside our President and Chief Strategy Officer.
Your responsibilities will include:
Lead outreach strategy to senior executives across the government affairs and policy landscape
Arrange introductory meetings between National Journal Membership’s senior leaders and Government affairs executives across leading companies and trade associations
Build and maintain a pipeline of potential clients, including leading prospecting efforts and devising and running outreach campaigns.
Represent National Journal Membership with external parties via email communication, phone calls, and in-person engagements
Support and advise clients, including matching our products and services research to their needs, across the revenue cycle to demonstrate how our solutions address their specific needs
Partner with the product teams to construct creative solutions to address client challenges
Track market trends and identify creative ways to improve our service, including identifying opportunities to build greater thought leadership
Consistently attain or exceed revenue targets
Exhibit strong organizational and operational skills with a keen attention to detail

Organization and time management skills, with the ability to independently manage competing priorities and efficiently respond to urgent requests
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college/university
Active contributor to a diverse and inclusive workplace
Employment Type: Full-time.
Compensation: The salary range for this role is $70,000-$90,000 plus commission, based on experience and background.
Location: This job is based in Washington, DC. National Journal Membership operates on a hybrid schedule, with employees required to be in the office every Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday.
